As I commented about the previous strip - this is not the case in our public library where I work. Yes, lots of DVDs go out, but books outnumber the DVDs by a LOT. Maybe because we have a lot of home-schoolers who depend on the library for reading material. But we also have lots of adults who borrow books. Interestingly enough, I see more younger people who are borrowing DVDs now. Many of our patrons can't afford to pay for streaming services.
